Theresa Brown is a nurse and author of two best selling books on her experience as a nurse. She also contributes to The New York Times and speaks internationally on nursing and healthcare issues, Prior to becoming a nurse Theresa earned a PHD in English and was an English professor at Tufts University. She says becoming a mother inspired her career change. Theresa has great insights into nursing. Her books are must reads for every nurse. In the interview we discuss the challenges for every nurse in a shift, making time for bedside manner, healthcare in America, and much more.
