Welcome to Episode 17: Brittany Saucier – “Work Doesn’t have to Suck!”. In this episode Ryan and Bryon are bridging the gap with Brittany Saucier – manager of the shared workspace called Worksphere. Brittany will give us some amazing insight into a post covid shared workspace office environment and share the benefits and her vision for the future of shared workspace.

Who is Brittany?
Brittany grew up in San Diego and lived there until she was 30 and ended up moving up to Washington in 2015 to be close to her Mom and step Dad since her step Dad was military and got relocated to WA. Brittany is also a real estate investor and owns a rental property in Arizona. Her advice to people wanting to buy homes: make sure you work with a broker who communicates. Communication is key to help settle the fears of first time home buyers.

How did you end up owning a Shared Workspace company?
Brittany worked in the co-working/shared workspace industry and she met her now business partner/investor “Dexter” who owns multiple commercial buildings around the Puget Sound region and asked Brittany to run with the idea of creating her own shared workspace. The company and brand is Worksphere.

How did you manifest your vision for a great space with good vibes and office culture?
A lot of thought was put into making sure there is a lot of natural light. Also getting inspired by a lot of design ideas on pinterest and manifesting that vision for an environment where people show up every day and are excited to be at work. Also her goal was to be intentional about affordability to really cater to soler proprietors in the personal care and consulting space which has promoted an amazing level of cultural diversity in our shared space. From Ryan and Bryon’s perspective, Worksphere Tacoma has the vibe and energy that get us excited to come into the office everday and Brittany has created an amazing office culture by manifesting her vision.

Future of Office Space and shared working
We see a lot of headlines about how companies are trying to force workers to come back to work full time. The reality is a lot of big companies with huge campuses are on the hook for huge monthly leases and covid has forced this shift in what is possible for remote or hybrid work. Brittany sees a strong future in the shared workspace/co-working environment. Brittany see her 5 year vision to expand at a regional level into more markets and continue to be an ambassador for her brand.
