And not the re-rebooted Nancy Drew Diaries series of novels, which began in 2013. And not any of the four movies from the 1930s, or the movie from 2007. And not either of the two television series! What, then?
The video games, of course! Specifically, Nancy Drew: Message in a Haunted Mansion (2000), the third in a series of adventure games from Her Interactive. In this episode, Carolyn accidentally calls listeners "viewers," and feels bad about it. Dan says some stuff that may threaten their marriage. Don't worry, they both get over it.
