Sit down with Harry Gestetner from FanFix which he co-founded alongside Simon Pompan, and influencer Cameron Dallas in 2021, and was acquired by SuperOrdinary — a platform that connects brands, creators, and buyers — in 2022 for $65m.

Fanfix is an exclusive content platform empowering creators to do what they love while earning from it. Their goal is to foster a safe and brand-friendly environment for creators and fans to engage together – Fanfix is akin to Patreon or OnlyFans, except it targets fans 18-24, so there’s absolutely no nudity allowed and moderators review DMs.

Fanfix strives to improve creator & fan experiences by pioneering a new medium for fan and creator interactions and even though they are just a few years old, they are already the home of over 10 million fans worldwide who interact daily with their favorite creators via engaging with their posts, messaging them directly, tipping, and more…

In this episode, we get into:

  1. How Fanfix has attracted more than 10 million users, including 3,000 creators, and claims an average annual income of $70,000 for active creators
  2. The platform's role out of additional features + revenue streams for creators, including "Tip-to-DM" and one-time purchases features
  3. How they overcame struggling to raise capital as first-time founders still in college
  4. The web3 values that are built into Fafix’s thesis

Keep up with Fanfix & Harry:
