APTA is the association for physical therapists in the United States of America. For this podcast, Dr. Mike Chua is with Justin Moore. He is a PT, DPT, and the Chief Executive Officer of the American Physical Therapy Association. Prior to being named CEO, Justin served APTA as its Executive Vice President, Public Affairs, and before that, served in several government affairs positions including work as the association’s lead lobbyist on Capitol Hill. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston, his Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Lowa, and his Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Lowa State University. Together, they talk about the actions of APTA on different issues and the future of physical therapy.
