Jennifer Cook of Snake Arts specializes in hyper-realistic snake and lizard sculptures. She is well known in the industry for producing stunning, life-like sculptures and uses her work to create appreciation, and promote conservation and education for the animals we love. She sculpted the beautiful door handles for both IguanaLand and The Chiricahua Desert Museum and her work has also been featured in many other museums across the globe. In this episode, Jennifer tells us about the process she uses to create such accurate pieces, including how she studies snake anatomy. The latter half of the podcast delves into the world of fraud and how major crime syndicates in Asia are counterfeiting artists' work, creating fake ads through Facebook and Instagram, and selling fake goods to unsuspecting purchasers. Jennifer discusses how this has impacted her work and why she has launched a class-action lawsuit against Facebook.
