In the first part of a two-episode sexstravaganza, The Morphy Boys tackle the three-book standalone epic The Andalite Chronicles. Part one finds us with a young Elfangor on a spaceship named Star Sword where he totally almost wins a fight. He negs his BFF Arbron. Then he meets a laaaaaaady. A real human lady. So our boy Elfie, his boy Arbron, and his GF Loren gotta team up with a Rambo andalite to get the ultimate weapon back from the yeerks—The Time Egg. It’s called something else but this is a better name. Time Egg. We tackle the issue of “what makes a soldier righteous?” “can a soldier be good?” “Would you do a genocide?” The answer to all of these is no. War is complicated. War is hell. Humans are cruel and destructive monsters and taking what kindness they can have and driving it out in the name of national pride to do murders is, honestly, Bad Vibes. Chapman is there! Visser 3 is there! Rolling Stones! Suicidal best friends! It’s Animorphs, bb!
