There’s a biblical doctrine that’s comes under attack a lot lately and that’s the doctrine of the sufficiency of Scripture. In other words, “is Scripture enough?”

The Bible teaches that it is sufficient—that God has given us everything we need for life and godliness. But many Christians don’t believe the Bible is enough. And they look for experiences to give them what they think they’re lacking. But the emotional effect of those “experiences” only lasts so long, so they need another, and another—bigger and better experience to know God is near and he loves them.

But, by God’s Spirit, the Bible is enough. God’s Word—it’s sufficient!
