Ok, I’m running low on ideas, and the five things that I’m writing now just don’t sound as good as the time tested authors (in the public domain, or at least I’m pretty sure).
I read King Pest for the title, and while I didn’t get quite what I expected, I was very pleasantly surprised. What a group of characters. When the world is ugly and death is around every corner; there isn’t much you can do but enjoy yourself. The world is a horrible place right now? Interesting information! I’m glad you brought a higher standard for yourself to light. After reading up on Poe, it becomes more difficult to say that he would be sitting in a local dive diner drinking $1 coffee all day writing poems. I bet he would be jumping up and down trying to start some nonprofit finding amazing things to do and ignoring writing, but that’s just my opinion. Or, he would be in a cheap coffee shop editing advertisement articles. Who knows.
Oh! I’m having difficulty getting recognized it seems, and I simply won’t give details as to my download numbers, but to the 16 people that listen to this on a regular basis, I want to let you know that I have NO pride when it comes to getting noticed. There is this like, 9 or 90 million subscriber podcast called Serial, or some number with a 9 in it, and I just recently learned about the most popular podcast! I have only a slight idea how podcasts are ranked or found, but I bet I can cheat regardless! Ready? Serial Serial, Serial, Serial. Serial this, Serial that. Serial getting me noticed yet? I’m a poet and didn’t even know it… Serial Around Serial Brothers Serial Theatre. Serial. Super Serial. Serialsouly? Is he going there? Will this Serial spam work? Short stories. Hashtag Serial. #Serial. Cereal killers? I’ll let anyone know how the results turn out that care.
