A while back I found a fantastic whiteboard animation plugin called Story Pop. It’s a FCP X plugin from a company called Stupid Raisins. I love this plugin! It’s a delight to use. I have to confess that for the longest time I did not want to tell anyone about Story Pop!

Today I have the pleasure of introducing you to the talented creator of Story Pop and the found of Stupid Raisins: Dylan Higginbotham. Stupid Raisins has many other fantastic FCP X plugins besides Story Pop.

I know, I know! Not all of you use FCP X. I get that. Please don’t tune out. This episode is not just a story about using and creating plugins for FCP X. It’s much bigger than that. This is an inspiring story about Dylan finding the courage to ditch his 9-to-5 job to create a successful business doing something he loves to do. I think that’s something all of us are interested in.
