This week we welcomed Madison Mooney, an advisor on the Sarah Shulze Foundation, which supports mental health, advocates for student athletics and advances women’s rights. As an all academic Big Ten and track and field athlete at the University of Wisconsin, Madison has dealt with the side affects of mental health, by first hand losing a teammate to the challenges of it. Because of her experiences, her main goal is normalizing mental health for student-athletes. Taking every opportunity to speak and share her story, trying to break the stigma.
