The Magi, Iranian priests (anciently called Persia) sought out the Messiah. With the use of their wisdom knowing prophecy and astrology they followed the star to find the Messiah. Being warned in a dream they did not tell Herod where the Messiah was. Thus the trickery of Satan was out performed by divine wisdom.
