It is important we presume competence while working with nonverbal children which requires a mindset change on our part as parents and professionals working with nonverbal kids.
I have a blog www.autismfamilystory.com which I started to help parents of children with special needs with helpful tips and strategies they can use to help their child with autism. I am also active on social media Instagram(@autismfamilystory) wherein I share lots of helpful information for parents who are on this journey. I also have a page on Facebook autismfamilystory. I am also active on Pinterest by the name Autismfamilystory. I started this podcast to help parents of children with special needs with helpful strategies and tips I learned over the years in raising my son who is on the autism spectrum.
