This week is all about a fun exercise I created to help you cultivate fondness for what you and your spouse have created in your marriage.

Fondness and admiration are part of the foundation of a strong marriage, and it's built and strengthened over the span of your time together, yet for many couples, this part of the marital foundation starts to crumble a few years into the commitment.
Relationship expert John Gottman even talks about how the way you tell the story of your marriage (your fondness of what you have built together) strongly indicates whether you have a positive or negative relationship with your spouse.
Oh, and I share a story about what happened when I first did this exercise with Jeff, so if you feel a bit self-conscious about thoughts you have about your spouse and your marriage, then you'll want to listen to my story, I think it will make you feel much better!
If you're looking for a new way to connect and get to know your spouse, as well as learn a thing or two about yourself, then this week's episode is for you: episode 123: Foundations of Love: A Fun Exercise To Help Cultivate & Share Fondness in Your Marriage. I also designed this exercise for you to do on your own if your partner isn't into it, and then I shared how you can use it to have a fun conversation getting to know each other better without them knowing your motives 😉
