This episode is a REWIND of my conversation with Karen Holland, the Founder of GiftingSense.org.

If you’ve ever had a child come to ask you for something they want to buy and you’ve thought to yourself, if only they understood the value of money better, then today’s episode is going to be extremely informative.

Karen has created a FREE online quiz that is helping parents and schools teach kids to think before they buy - and create good money habits for the rest of their lives.

Giftingsense is a Canadian NPO dedicated to helping children prepare for all the personal financial decisions that lie in their future.

Karen has a Masters Degree in Economic History from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario. She was a Sovereign Risk Analyst for the Royal Bank of Canada before having a family. She has been working on the Gifting Sense project since 2015.

Gifting Sense was recognized as one of the best school-aged non-profit financial education programs available today at the 2022 Money Awareness & Inclusion Awards.
