Listen to us talk about how scientists have finally captured a Supernova from start to finish, the strange history of Betelgeuse the Red Giant & the launch of The James Webb Space Telescope built by NASA , The European Space Agency and The Canadian Space Agency. The James Webb Space Telescope will succeed the Hubble Space Telescope as NASA’s Flagship astrophysics mission. The James Webb Space Telescope will be launching 22nd December 2021 during Ariane Flight VA256. Photos of distant exoplanets & observing some of the most distant events in the universe will finally be at our eager fingertips.
Update: For anyone curious about the date discrepancy between Matt & Banterbot - At the time of recording the launch was December 18th, at the time of editing it was the 22nd, and at the time of publishing it was the 24th!
