Hello everyone, welcome to our week in Geek! This week we will be bringing you… well not much in terms of news. So instead we will talk about what we’re playing and some sweet, sweet Disneyland plans as well as our streaming review of Outlaw King. Finally we wrap up this week’s show with our Podquestion of what was is geeky family crest.

This week we watched the fan suggestion Outlaw King on Netflix. Thanks you listener of the podcast, Josh the Grey, we got to see the sequel to Braveheart… okay not really. If you saw Braveheart then you’ll understand why the begging of this movie had us in pieces (drum beat). Yes I’m terrible but you’re not surprised. The end of Braveheart is essentially the beginning of Outlaw King. While that is some healthy movie stock to come from, sadly the movie falls pretty short. Bat points out that it is another example of how Netflix hates editors. And while I enjoyed the movie more than him I think we both agree that Pine’s acting was pretty 2 dimensional. The best thing that came out of this movie was Douglas (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). Again, it’s not great but it’s also not too terrible.

Next week we’re back to watching our own stuff with IO on Netflix. It’s end of the world type fun!

You can suggest a streaming movie that you want us to watch and review on future episodes that are on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime or HBOgo.
