All civilians in Gaza City are being told to leave their homes and head south. The Israeli army has dropped thousands of leaflets telling more than a quarter of a million people that the area remains a dangerous combat zone. The UN has said it is deeply concerned about the evacuation orders being given. It is the second time since the war began that Gaza City as a whole has been asked to evacuate. Further south at least 29 Palestinians have been killed and dozens more wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a camp for displaced people. Gaza’s Hams-run health ministry says the strike was next to the gates of a school east of the city of Khan Younis. The Israeli military said it had used "precise munition" to target a "terrorist from Hamas' military wing" who had taken part in the 7 October attack on Israel. It said it was "looking into the reports that civilians were harmed" adjacent to the school. Clive Myrie presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Fergal Keane.
