A children's hospital in Kyiv has been largely destroyed after Russia launched a wave of missile strikes against cities across Ukraine. The Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital - Ukraine's biggest paediatrics facility - sustained major damage in the explosion. Thirty-six people were killed and 140 people were injured in the airstrikes, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky's office. They said more than 40 missiles of different types had hit buildings and infrastructure in cities including Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. Russia has denied targeting the hospital, saying it was hit by a Ukrainian air defence missile. But Ukraine says it found fragments of a Russian cruise missile at the scene. Jane Hill presents BBC News at Ten reporting by James Waterhouse, Steve Rosenberg and Jonathan Beale.
