Welcome today's co-host, Jennifer Denny--my sister, my original Beacon.

We talk all about the book " Share Your Stuff. I'll go First." by Laura Tremaine. We get vulnerable here, so stay tuned. (Also, shout out to Jennifer's husband Steve, the one who provides music for the show).

This book does as it intends to do...spark meaningful conversations. It's about getting real with your friends and family and discovering their true stories.

I disclose the 10 lessons I learned from my big sister. And I'm sure you can relate this to lessons you've learned from others. Keep in mind... you never know the impact you have on someone else's life.

Recommendations from the show...

First and foremost the book: "Share Your Stuff, I'll go First." by Laura Tremaine.

Also her podcast: "10 Things to Tell You."

Jenni recommends the book "Maybe You Should Talk to Someone." by Lori Gottlieb

also "Educated" by Tara Westover and "Atomic Habits" by James Clear.

Your host recommends the book "The Traveler's Gift" by Andy Andrews (and anything else by Andy)

We hope you enjoyed this episode! If you did, take a screen shot and share it to your social media of choice. Tag me so I can give you a shout on IG @ cari.normand or FB @ Cari Yocom Normand. You can also email me @ beaconsofbravery@gmail.com
