Hello friends! Welcome to EP23 of the show! In this round we celebrate the addition of our new studio cat, Missy Elliott, and she's a real gem. We recorded on a dreadful snowy Monday so we were fortunate to have a couple Double IPAs from Superflux brewing to keep us warm. Our album introspective was the debut album by Father John Misty, 2012's Fear Fun. Mick and Tristan debate what all of the Hunter S Thompson-esque narcotic antiques really means, and have a heck of a time doing it. As our last couple film picks have been focused on some real world stress and anxiety we switched back over to some Sci Fi action with the 1987 Schwarzenegger classic, The Running Man- and oh ya it's just as good as you remembered (well sort of). New and noteworthy music from Men I Trust, Kid Koala, Jamila Woods, and Girlpool. As always check out all the tracks we play in the show on our Apple Music playlist. Be sure to subscribe on iTunes to stay up to date with the show, and rate us while you're at it- we crave feed back! For more content from the show find us on Instagram and Facebook. Happy listening!
