Hello, and welcome to Beauty and the Biz as we discuss hiring staff tips and challenges. In addition, we'll also discuss the business and marketing side of plastic surgery.

I’m your host, Catherine Maley, author of “Your Aesthetic Practice – What your patients are saying”. Also, I’m a consultant to plastic surgeons, to get them more patients and more profits.

Indeed, today’s episode is called “Hiring Staff Tips and Challenges — with Stephen Weber, MD”.

To be sure, the #1 challenge for a solo practice has been and will continue to be staffing.

Obviously, that’s because human beings are involved. Certainly, every person comes to you with their own unique blend of values, beliefs, past experiences and emotions.

In addition, those above characteristics fluctuate when blended with other people’s characteristics. So, it makes sense that it’s an ever-changing pool of personalities coming together creating teamwork, drama and/or chaos.

Unquestionably, navigating these twists and turns of staff hiring is not for the faint hearted.

Without a doubt, failing to adhere to sound hiring principles can result in lost time. Additionally, bad patient reviews, low staff morale, and financial losses, including embezzlement. Yikes!

Specifically, this week's Beauty and the Biz podcast is an interview I did with Dr. Stephen Weber. Undoubtedly, he's a respected facial plastic surgeon in private practice for the past 15 years in Lone Tree, CO.

To be sure, Dr. Weber shares his successes in:

  • Firstly in terms of hiring staff tips and challenges: Finding motivated individuals.
  • Secondly in terms of hiring staff tips and challenges: Social media's impact on hiring
  • Thirdly in terms of hiring staff tips and challenges: The evolving landscape of employee expectations.

Equally important, he also shared surprises faced when uncovering hidden criminal backgrounds.

Indeed, join us for a captivating discussion on transparency. Chiefly, Dr. Weber offers valuable insights that every cosmetic surgery practitioner can benefit from.

"The fastest way to success is to model other successful surgeons who have what you want, but you can only see their results, not the path they took to get there.

So, you continue to jump from one thing to another, hoping to find something that will work for you too, but it rarely does. So, try this shortcut instead. It’s guaranteed to move you forward. I compiled my intellectual property to grow cosmetic revenues, everything I’ve gleaned over the years into one playbook of the most successful practices and what they do to win.

Go to www.CosmeticPracticeVault.com and let’s grow your cosmetic revenue."
