Eli Beer is a pioneer, social entrepreneur, President and Founder of United Hatzalah of Israel. In thirty years, the organization has grown to more than 6,500 volunteers who unite together to provide immediate, life-saving care to anyone in need - regardless of race or religion. This community EMS force network treats over 730,000 incidents per year, in Israel, as they wait for ambulances and medical attention. Eliās vision is to bring this life-saving model across the world. In 2015, Beer expanded internationally with the establishment of branches in South America and other countries, including āUnited Rescueā in Jersey City, USA, where the response time was reduced to just two minutes and thirty-five seconds. Have you ever asked yourself, why am I failing? Or worse, why canāt I do it? The answer is: itās not how good you are, itās HOW GOOD YOU WANT TO BE. Seberapa sering sih kita meragukan ide sendiri? Mencari seribu-satu-alasan untuk menunda merealisasikannya? Well, if youāre one of us perhaps this Paul Ardenās book can give you a heads up about how to get things done. Or at least, how to make a start š„ā¦
[non-fic] Ever wonder why he/she seems so grumpy all the time? Or why on earth canāt you get along with the love of your life? Selalu aja ada yang salah, no matter what you do. Hereās why: sometimes loving them is not enough. You gotta understand them in order to love them. Banyak yang berpikir setelah menikah ātugas negaraā selesai. What if I told you that the game has actually just begun? And every game has rule(s). No worries tho. As Oprah once said, āāthe people who love you donāt treat you badly. Love doesnāt hurt, itās supposed to feel good.āā Ready to be rules-players, hey lovebirds? :)ā¦
[non-fic] Katakanlah hanya punya waktu terbatas di dunia ini (say, another two to five years) apa yang akan dilakukan? Tapi kalau kata Forrest Gump: Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what youāre gonna get. Paul didiagnosa menderita kanker paru-paru stadium IV ketika usianya baru 36 tahun. Eventually came to this: he had to decide what to do with his limited time? From this powerful book, Iām getting a closer understanding of death and dying. I donāt usually cry over a book but this one book right here is totally an exception. Dan buku When Breath Becomes Air-nya Paul Kalanithi ini bukan cuma bikin gue head over heels, tapi juga highly recommended by Bill Gates. So whaddaya say, peeps? Letās get to know Paul better and fall in love together šā¦
Gue pun jadi korban. Banyak orang bilang gue OCD cuma krn gila bersih, rapih dan teratur. To-do-list is the love of my life and all of the sudden, I have an OCD? Hmmm. Contrary to popular belief, being a neat freak or an organizational maven is not necessarily make you suffer from a mental illness. OCD is not a joke. Yuk, edukasi diri lewat bukunya Dr. David Adam tentang Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. We often say things we donāt mean and our words can be insulting to others. Shall we break the stigma together, whaddaya say?
The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F***. Whatās important and whatās not? Penasaran se-powerful apa buku self-help ini? Katanya sih, Mark berhasil menyelamatkan banyak orang lewat tulisannya. Hmm, perhaps you should invest a little bit of your leisure and have a listen to this. Letās learn and grow together, peeps!
Well the good news is, we can always start now. Yuk, berkembang bersama! :)ā¦
