We go back to tropical Hawaii with our first non beer episode. We taste some sack strength mead from Nani Moon Meadery. We find out how mead can drop panties and give you a half stack in your pants.

Nani Moon is Hawaii’s only meadery helmed by Queen Bee Stephanie Krieger. They produce tasty meads produced with 100% local Hawaii ingredients using honey from their own apiaries.

Mead #1: Lakai’s Nectar

Style: Melomel
ABV: 12%
Flavor Text: “Hand-crafted from macadamia nut blossom honey, organic Kaua’i cacao and vanilla beans. Nicknamed the ‘panty dropper’ by the locals, Cacao Moon is sure to bring romance under the moonlight!”

Mead#3: Buzz Squared Stout Heart Dark Sour

Style: Experimental Mead
ABV: 12%
Flavor Text: “One of their Small Batch Seasonals. This mead is soured by adding the fruit of coffee cherries to the mead and allowing it to sour from the wild yeast and bacteria that lives on the skins of the fruit.“
