In this episode of our Being Better Everyday podcast, I'm excited to dive into the topic of reflecting on the last year so we can get clear on setting intentions for the new year. I'm your host, Julie Wenzlick, and I truly believe that taking the time to set intentions can make a huge difference in our lives. I want to guide you through a reflective process that I've found to be really helpful. I encourage you to answer some reflective questions. What were the highlights of your year? What were the challenges? What lessons did you learn?

I'll also be sharing some of my own personal experiences with you. For example, I'll talk about how I started this podcast and even launched a YouTube channel. It's been quite a journey, and I've learned so much along the way. I'll also touch on my growth in faith and how that has impacted my life. Through the ten questions we discuss in the episode, you will see your joyful moments for the year, where you showed resilience, and how the JOY LIST can really show you how you spent your time. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our daily routines that we forget to make time for the things that truly bring us joy.

Lastly, I want to encourage you to reflect on your priorities. What truly matters to you? What do you want to focus on in the upcoming year? I'll provide you with some tools and strategies for setting intentions that align with your values and goals.

So, get ready to dive deep. I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's make this year the best one yet!

Questions to Reflect on your Year:

  1. What was my biggest win this year?
  2. What's a moment that made me laugh so hard I snorted?
  3. If this year had a theme song, what would it be?
  4. In what unexpected ways did I show resilience?
  5. What's a skill or hobby I picked up that surprised even me?
  6. If I could thank one person for getting me through the year, who would it be and why?
  7. If I could have given myself advice at the beginning of the year, what would it have been?
  8. What's a small, everyday moment that brought me immense joy?
  9. What feels most important to you in your life right now?
  10. Finally, in three words, how would I describe this year?
