Mythology, folklore, religion - these vehicles of allegory once served the noble purpose of giving us something to aspire to, serve in the name of, or hold up as virtuous examples as we sought to discover a good and useful way to live. In a world now so full of knowledge, of discovered facts and disproven legends, what can we look to today if we wish to see an example of how to be or what to do? Perhaps these old stories, characters, and gods still have something to teach us about figuring ourselves out and living a good life. Let's find out.
