Rebecca moved to Botswana to work at Mokolodi Nature Reserve. Upon discovering that there was no conservation going on for the regularly persecuted and endangered cheetah in 2002 she decided to initiate a program to protect this threatened cat species. As CCB’s co-founder and longest standing member, Rebecca is the cornerstone of CCB and the project’s success is a tribute to her passion, determination and her holistic and practical approach to conservation.

In today's episode we will cover:

  • Rebecca's personal story and how she got involved with Cheetah Conservation
  • How Cheetah Conservation Botswana was founded
  • How cheetah conservation has helped a single mother of three thrive and support her family successfully
  • CCB's holistic approach to conservation
