Sue Nelson is an award-winning science journalist and broadcaster, formerly a BBC TV science correspondent and Radio 4 presenter.

Sue was a presenter of The Material World on BBC Radio 4 and has presented a number of science series on Radio 4 including Britain’s Modern Brunels and Citizen Scientist in 2006. She was also the co-author of How To Clone the Perfect Blonde alongside Richard Hollingham. Her award-winning 2016 documentary Women with the Right Stuff was one of BBC World Service’s most-listened-to podcasts.

She came to Emirates Airline Festival of Literature in 2019 to talk about her latest book, Wally Funk's Race to Space
