On hour 2 of the Big Show, George and Matt kick off the hour with a discussion on what the Flames might have up their sleeve during free agency this offseason. The guys discuss the possibility of the Flames getting a free agent to maybe get the most out of Jonathan Hubredeau or to bolster their d core with a veteran presence.
(15:21) To wrap the hour, the guys are joined by Sam Cosentino. Sam joins the guys to discuss how the Flames will approach the draft. Everyone is making the connections between the Flames and Tij Iginla. Sam discusses what it would take for the Flames to maybe move up to take Tij, what it would mean for the franchise if they got to draft Tij and what might be the backup plan for Calgary in the first round. Sam gives some names on who the Flames might look to take if the Flames miss on Iginla.
