Pastors are called to preach. Preachers are called to do so in season and out of season...with all patience. There is an unspoken reality recognized by every pastor/preacher - the looming outrage over the sharp-cutting words of scripture; especially when it comes to sexual immorality, homosexuality and transgenderism.
There has been a sermon of Mike Todd (Pastor at Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma) making its rounds in the internet. We take a listen to some key moments from the sermon to analyze it. We're joined by our co-laborer and brother, Joseph Alexander.
We honestly believe that this topic wasn't handled as faithfully as it ought to have been. However, we pray that Transformation Church's pastor is convicted by the Lord to lead his people toward what is true and holy and to do so faithfully. For those who genuinely have questions about God, sex and our bodies, there is good news to be shared in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
