On the 4th anniversary of the nuclear catastophe at Fukushima, Australian uranium in the stricken reactors is still fuelling radioactive contamination in Japan and the push from industry and government to expand nuclear operations here continues. Dave Sweeney (ACF) reflects on Australia’s role and responsibility in the local and global energy debate. Mia Pepper (CCWA) joins us with a call to take action and support the local community of Parnngurr in saying no to uranium mining at Kintyre.
