Brandon Holveck and Jake Lampert discuss the news of the day — Bryce Harper agreeing to a 13-year $330 million deal with the Philadelphia Phillies — first from the Phillies’ perspective (1:02) and then from the rest of the league’s perspective (20:02). It is the longest and largest (in terms of total guaranteed money) baseball contract ever and certainly the biggest deal ever agreed to on February 28. Later, Doug Baran joins the show to discuss Nolan Arenado’s contract extension with the Colorado Rockies (24:59), and the weekend ahead for Delaware safety Nasir Adderley at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
