She has an MBA with specialization in Healthcare Management from the European Business School and specialized in Transgender Health and Sexual Confirming Genital Surgery at the Institute of Plastic Surgery Dr. Ivan Mañero, in Barcelona, Spain. She has been a WPATH member since 2015. Dr. Labanca currently works in the Department of Gender Diversity and Transgender Health at Hospital Dr. Bernardo Houssay, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Podcast Highlights: 1. Gynecologists and gynecologists oncologists should be involved in transgender care, understand gender diversity and promote sexual health 2. Gynecologic cancer screenings should be organ- rather than gender-based. 3. Hormone therapy and surgical status may change screening strategies. 4. There is a need of further high-quality research in the field of Transgender Health.
