The institution of Marriage is as old as time itself, but never has our concept of marriage been as challenged as it is today. With lawmakers and politicians bickering over what defines a “Traditional” marriage; many people feel the need to express their view of what a marriage is to them. Some see it as a sacred institution created by God with fixed and unbreakable commandments. While others see marriage as an ever evolving partnership between a person and whomever or whatever they choose to love. With so many social stigmas surrounding marriage, it is little wonder that many couples choose to opt out altogether. Choosing instead to live together, even raise children together, without officially tying the knot. Those who choose this path of co-habitation have strong beliefs concerning both the pros and cons of their decisions. But what does the Bible say concerning this ever growing trend. And have we finally seen the end of Marriage as defined by God in favor or Marriage defined by society? Join us today for another installment of “Repentance is the Key” as we search the scriptures for the answer to this growing dilemma.
