This March, a week before the first single off his new album “Autotango” was released, I interviewed Ryder The Eagle for this podcast. After seeing him live opening for Oracle Sisters more than a year ago in London, I went up to him immediately, got the vinyl & asked him to be a guest in my podcast. I’ve never heard of him or his music before that night, but his performance and poetic lyricism amazed & fascinated me. What continued was me telling everyone I met and already knew about his album “Megachurch”, his talent on stage and eventually even made my friend join me seeing him live again this past month in Paris.

In this episode, we discuss tracks of his new album “Autotango” such as The Fireman Is Blue, Love’s Not My Jurisdiction and The Rain In My Heart - how this time around Ryder let himself reflect on his inner thoughts and feelings whereas he always focused his music more around love - and of where his inspiration and creativity comes from.
