Beware, ye mortals, for the god of Thunder have come down from high! Very high. Space, actually. He lives in Asgard normally, but there's been somewhat of a disturbance, so he's here now. And he'll soon be wielding Mjölnir and fighting ice giants just the same always! Once he can pick it up. Because today we are discussing 2011's Thor, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first venture to a hero who isn't as Earth-bound as we are. But we also look at another similar journey of self-discovery as Pocahontas discovers there's a new world out there beyond the great salt sea as we also discuss 1998's Pocahontas II: Journey To A New World.
