Walter has a prolific and diverse entertainment career. He is a musician, special effects expert, actor, and makeup artist. Listen to the interview to determine which he likes best.

As a product of the 1960s, he grew up a fan of the Universal Monsters and has always been fascinated by the idea of portraying a monster in a movie. He shares about his random encounter with a famous actor in full monster costume.
Walter talks about the experience of portraying Dr. Satan and also shares some strong opinions about makeup schools.

He casually states the simple mantra, “You can do whatever you want to do.”

As an actor, Walter Phelan is best known for his iconic roles as Dr. Satan in House of 1000 Corpses (2003), as a Demon in Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995) and a Vampire in From Dusk till Dawn (1996). Walter has also worked with K.N.B., EDGE FX, OPTIC NERVE and many others.
As a musician, he was part of the punk band RF7 who played with iconic bands like Social Distortion, Black Flag, Bad Religion, and Circle Jerks.
He is currently working on Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
