WACKY-BUT-TRUE: HOW TO ESCAPE YOUR WIFE’S 'NAGGING' _ In China, a man jumped into a fast-flowing river because he couldn’t take his wife’s nagging anymore. The truck driver and his wife were on a ferry when it all became too much for him. The man suddenly jumped out of his truck cab with his hands covering his ears while shouting, “I can’t stand it any longer!” Later that night police found the man, who had managed to swim across the river.

WACKY-BUT-TRUE: LOUD NEIGHBORS _ In Germany police were called out by neighbors complaining about a young couple having an extremely loud lovemaking session with the windows open. When they got there, the cops found the neighbors standing in front of the couple’s house listening in.

WACKY-BUT-TRUE: FAKE MURDER PLOT TO GET MONEY FROM PARENTS _ If you’re trying to get money from your parents, this is probably the most confusing way possible. In China a 24-year-old fabricated a story about getting into a fight with a friend. He told his family they fought along a river and both fell in, but only he made it out. The son told his parents a stranger came up to him awhile later at a bus station and said he’d witnessed the fight and wanted $8,000 to keep his mouth shut. The son wanted his parents to give him $8,000 to give to the witness. But his parents forced their son to instead turn himself in to police. And that’s when his bogus story fell apart. The “murdered” friend didn’t even exist.

WACKY-BUT-TRUE: DRUNK GROOM SPENDS WEDDING NIGHT IN JAIL _ A brawl broke out at a wedding in Poland after the groom allegedly hit on a pregnant waitress at the reception. The groom allegedly groped the waitress and tried to pour alcohol down her throat. She then contacted her boyfriend who arrived at the reception to confront the groom, and a fight broke out. The groom reportedly spent his wedding night in jail.

THE FORGETFUL TRAVELER:

Have you had a chance to get away yet this summer? While pretty much everyone can agree that there’s nothing like embarking on a vacation trip, the sad reality is that at some point in your journey, you’ll probably realize that you’ve forgotten something.

According to a survey, 90% of adult travelers have had that moment when they notice that an essential item didn’t make the trip with them.

According to the poll of 2,000 Americans, the most inconvenient things people have forgotten include socks (17%), water bottles (14%) and even their wallet (8%). 27% have left behind their sunscreen, and 18% even forgot to pack their medications.

The survey also revealed that nearly 40% of us seem to be more forgetful than usual when traveling, with, on average, 3 items being left behind on every trip.

The good news is that 23% said they have a “mom friend” when traveling, who keeps supplies on hand, such as napkins or band-aids, and reminds everyone to do important things like eat and stay hydrated.
