Fred Zain: Director of Serology at the West Virginia state crime lab and Chief of Physical Evidence at the medical examiner’s office in Bexar County Texas. This episode details Zain’s faulty forensic work (we’re being kind here), the effect it had on many people and a two states’ justice systems, and the aftermath of it all.
