Valentino Rossi managed to double Yamaha's number of laps led in Thailand. Isn't that... sad? Our expectations for the Yamaha factory team have always been higher. So its not surprising that we are a bit disappointed that's the only notable thing they've been able to accomplish lately. We cover that for a bit, even through some technical difficulties. Our other main story is how Michelin and the Thailand heat and track layout affected the racing. All the riders struggled with rear tire durability and grip like never before, wearing out their rear tires even in the center. Thankfully, all this produced another Michelin-era style race with a large pack and a great end of race battle for the win. We talk about Jorge Lorenzo some and finish off with some quick BrotoGP Awards for the weekend.
