We bump into Welsh Author Cal Heath to talk about stoicism, how and when to introduce stoic values to our children.

Stoicism originated in ancient Greece around the 3rd Century BC and was later adopted by the Romans.

Among other things, it teaches that individuals should focus on what they can control and accept what they cannot. The philosophy also emphasizes the development of self-control and fortitude as a means of managing emotions and the importance of virtue.

This philosophy has influenced many areas of modern life, including psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy, and business management.

In this episode, we'll explore how we can teach children about the key tenets of stoicism, and how they can apply its teachings to their daily lives.

My guest for this episode is Cal Heath. Cal has written articles for Soticare and Modern stoicism around how and when to teach your children about Stoic principles.

So sit back, and let's dive into the world of stoicism and how jumping on board early might help our children develop a skillset to navigate the challenges of modern life.

Podcast guest: Call Heath.
