Welcome to another episode of the Burke and the Betas podcast! In this episode, we put our movie-watching skills to the test by each selecting a different Hallmark holiday movie to watch and review.
For those unfamiliar with Hallmark movies, they are known for their predictable storylines, romantic themes, and often cheesy dialogue. We decided to see if we could make it through four different Hallmark movies in one sitting and share our thoughts on each one.
One of us, however, has a surprise in store. Instead of watching a real Hallmark movie, they have made up their own movie and will be sharing their review as if it were a real movie. Can you guess who it is? You'll have to tune in to find out!
Overall, our four Hallmark movie marathon was a mixed bag of emotions. While we appreciated the festive holiday setting and romantic themes, we also couldn't help but cringe at some of the more cheesy and formulaic moments.
