In this episode you'll learn how hops have out grown their status as the darlings of the brewing world and now need to demonstrate that they can contribute more sustainably and efficiently to beer.
Ed Kentish Barnes is the MD of Steiner Hops (part of the Hopsteiner group) and as a Master Brewer for almost 20 years, he knows the benefits that the right quality hops can bring to brewers. But the supply chain and energy crunch of recent years, together with chronic sustainability challenges are forcing hop breeders, farmers and brewers to become more innovative. Ed explains hop hops can meet these challenges head on.
Better known to some as "GVT", Graham Villiers-Tuthill is the Marketing & Innovation for Director Greater China @ Diageo and he joins us on our desert island with an "anti-marketing" choice of beverage.
