The Emergency Department CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) survey has been announced and initial discussions are being held on the survey interment and its implementation. Alan Jackson, Janette Jones, and Valerie Sipe - all from The Jackson Group - take a break from the regular topics of discussion to provide an introduction to the ED-CAHPS process, talk through what is known at this point, and what healthcare organizations should be doing to prepare for this upcoming survey process.
