He did what many Cambodians dream of for their child. Born in the province, his family manages to send him to study in Phnom Penh. He studies hard, goes to University.
A few years later, he gets a scholarship that sends him to Japan. He has to work side jobs, learn Japanese, until he can finally go study civil engineering with other Japanese students at university. After acquiring enough skills and confidence, he decides to come back to Cambodia and participate in the development of the country, working for a major Japanese company. Until a major plot twist that makes him do a U turn with his career.
