In this weeks episode Holly and Chloe 'fly' back to the States to interview the exceptional wealth of knowledge that is 'David Toback'!
As usual, Holly and Chloe have a quick catch up on the week that was - we hear how FriendZSpace is going and how Chloe's life as a Teacher is unfolding in 'Chloe's Cooked Classroom Conundrums'.
Then, they throw to their interview with the wonderful David Toback who is a Voice Actor, Coach and the COO of the GVAA all the way over the seas in LA. David shares his passion for a Chemex pour over method (its coffee, if you are as confused as the girls were), and lets us in on his drive to help other VO's know their worth and what rates to charge. He was the founder of the GVAA Rate Guide , which enables all artists working in the States better understand Voice Over rates and what they should be charging.
David is an inspiration, as we learn how an accident that saw him almost lose his leg actually lead to him finding and pursuing his true passion - a career in Voice Over. He shares tips on how to set up a great home studio and how important health and wellness are for his mental health and his career.
We hope you enjoy this great interview, and if you want to find out more about David you can find him here:
