We are so excited to share with you our chat with our incredible friend, Teresa Lim! Teresa is the promo voice of Cartoon Network/Boomerang TV and will be joining the panel of international judges for the 2021 Promax VO awards. Her generous spirit has earned her the nickname of ‘Angel’ amongst her colleagues as she connects a global network of voice-over actors through Instagram and script reading workshops.
But first up, we get to hear from an excited Holly and Chloe who are FINALLY recording from the same room again! Chloe fills us in on some ‘secret sessions’ that have now been released to the public and Holly gives us a window into her current work/life balance that is making her feel sooooooooo good!
In this week’s episode, award winning VO artist Teresa Lim talks us through the difference between a Chai tea and a Chai latte, how a conversation late in her journalism degree ignited a passion to support and encourage diversity in her chosen field, and her commitment to supporting her colleagues to follow their passions and dreams. We also learn that her amazing career stemmed from a book her Mum gave her – Making Money In Your Pj’s. We get her insights into using LinkedIn as a professional tool and the important partnership between talent and agent.
