Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! This is Marsha Kerr Talley, and I want to give a special shout out to everyone who tunes into Candid Conversations with Marsha. We've been having some amazing in-depth conversations lately.

Last week, I spoke to Sian Hill, a therapist who shared various strategies to help people reconnect with themselves and heal from emotional traumas. The week before, Natasha Henry joined us to discuss mental illness, sharing her personal story and offering strategies for coping.

Tomorrow, we are diving into the benefits of forgiveness in the healing journey. This topic has sparked a surprising amount of debate, with some believing forgiveness is unnecessary or even harmful. I was shocked to learn that some therapists and counselors advocate against forgiveness, claiming it can re-traumatize individuals.

In my healing journey, forgiveness was pivotal. I believe it is a necessary part of moving forward, though I acknowledge it may look different for everyone. Unfortunately, a guest who held an opposing view felt too triggered to continue our conversation on the podcast.

We will have other guests, therapists from the States and the UK, to further explore this topic in the coming weeks. This discussion will also be part of my upcoming course on the healing process.

Stay tuned to Candid Conversations with Marsha and check out my blog for more on the benefits of forgiveness. Join us tomorrow at noon for our live stream, and we may also have a later time to accommodate our US guests. I'm excited to see how these episodes assist you in your healing journey.
