Kathleen has been a body/mind resilience innovator for over 20 years. As a board-certified massage therapist, she first solved her chronic back pain by developing the Kinessage® Self-Care movements. Next, she translated them into the new method of Kinessage® using the nervous system and movement to release the tension patterns underlying musculoskeletal disorders. She then became nationally certified and taught both Kinessage® Self Care for Therapists and Kinessage® Massage Through Movement around the U.S. to occupational, physical, and massage therapists so they could better care for themselves while more effectively caring for their clients.
Seeing the ravaging effects of the opioid epidemic, she retired from her practice in 2015 to develop Kinessage® Self-care into a D-I-Y virtual program to provide the public and organizations with a non-drug alternative solution for soft tissue musculoskeletal disorders.
Her own experience of burnout while launching that business compelled her discovery of nervous system reset tools to restore her mental focus and health and move her business forward. Today she teaches mission-driven leaders and teams how to restore their mental and physical well-being so they can live and lead resiliently.
