He is the author A few years ago Fr. Longenecker surprised Christians with a factual investigation about the Magi of St Matthew’s Christmas story. He followed that up with an examination of the historical background of St Luke’s tale of the Shepherds of Bethlehem. We discuss these books and his conversion to Catholicism on this episode of Catholic Forum.
